Thank you for your interest in the WINDFORCE 2012 conference. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Bremen as a participant.

Please note that registrations will be processed in the order in which we receive them.

The conference fee (plus 19% VAT) includes buffet lunches, refreshments during breaks, conference documents, and a DVD with event documentation.
The number of participants for the Senate Reception, the excursion and the Maritime Wind Dinner is limited and registrations will be processed in the order in which we receive them.

Please note:
Your name will appear on the official list of participants if you register by 15 June 2012. Later bookings or changes cannot be accommodated on the official list of participants.

The final deadline for online registration is 24 June 2012. A registration after that date is possible at the conference itself.

In case of cancellation by 31 May 2012, 30 percent of the relevant conference and/or dinner fee will be charged; for cancellation after this date, the full fee will be charged. You are allowed to name a replacement.

Other programme events

Monday, 25 June 2012: Excursion to Bremen
11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Departure will be from the Messe Bremen fairgrounds. Lunch will be provided along the way.
Participants will have the opportunity to see:
– the Areva Wind nacelle test stand
– production of steel foundations at WeserWind Offshore Construction
Georgsmarienhütte
– RWE Innogy’s base and construction port for the Nordsee Ost offshore
wind farm

Please note: The companies of the excursion will give not an access to the facilities for persons from competing companies. The decision who get an access will be come from the visiting companies. Thank you for your understanding.

Tuesday, 26 June 2012: Senate Reception and Inaugural Event
in Bremen Town Hall
7 p.m. to midnight
Jens Böhrnsen, Mayor of the City of Bremen, is inviting WINDFORCE 2012 participants and exhibitors to Bremen’s Rathaus. The 600-year-old Bremen Town Hall was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. The Senate Reception will launch the formal opening of the conference, to take place in and around the Town Hall.

Wednesday, 27 June 2012: Maritime Wind Dinner
on the ABC-Halbinsel peninsula in Bremerhaven
7 p.m. to midnight

The venue for the 2012 Maritime Wind Dinner is on the ABC-Halbinsel in Bremerhaven’s Überseehafen port, where BLG LOGISTICS GROUP (Wind Energy Logistics) currently operates an offshore terminal. Foundation structures manufactured in Bremerhaven by WeserWind Offshore Georgsmarienhütte are stored here before being transported to offshore installation sites. Guests at the 2012 Maritime Wind Dinner will have a firsthand look at some of the logistics involved.
